At LabJack, it is our goal to keep our products in stock, available, and supported for as long as possible. However, there are some conditions where transitions are necessary:

Product Improvements: In some cases, we release an improved version to enhance reliability, usability, or performance, such as the transition from the original InAmp to its successor.

Component Availability: Other times, critical raw parts are no longer manufactured, making it impossible to continue production—as was the case with the EI-1050.
